We are happy to announce that we have closed our pre-seed round with €2.5 million in funding.
After initially looking for a €500K pre-seed round from close friends, things escalated rather quickly. More than 40 well-known angels and investors believed in us as a team and our vision.
Blockbrain also claimed an equity-free €1 million innovation grant from the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in cooperation with the University of Ulm.
We will use the funds to build a blockchain data platform for more security and transparency in web3.
The problem and how we are solving it
Criminals are exploiting the novelty of web3 to steal from everyday people. Retail investors have been losing billions of dollars in crypto scams every year. We were tired of watching from the sidelines, so we created Blockbrain with the ambition to fill the missing trust in the industry. We aim to build a technological bridge toward mainstream adoption, beyond all the hype.
Our AI-driven SaaS platform analyzes, protects, and optimizes users’ blockchain assets. We fight threats, cover P&L and tax reports, and provide personalized updates on risks & opportunities in web3.
